We were in Wilmington on the boardwalk today. I noticed that someone had placed some plastic army men on a mooring bollard . I got down to take a photo and looked straight across the river to the U.S.S. Carolina.
Heather and I went to the beach and found sea shells and sand dollars. We ate lunch at the Oceanic restaurant and saw these Dolphins swimming up the coast! It was also fun to watch the Pelicans skimming along the surface of the waves.
I am heading to Wilmington , N. C. to visit my cousin today. Here is a shot of the airport in Charlotte. It is a busy airport and many hallways are lined with white rocking chairs.
I was going to put a photo up of the hazy sun today, but it was much too gray....Here is a photo of me trying to juggle. PS.....if you click on the picture to see more jugglingaction.
There was a clear blue sky today and the first quarter moon was nicely revealed. In this phase it rises at noon and sets at dusk. I was looking east at midday.
This picture could be a guess what it is? I took it just outside our front door. Remember, It is cold outside..........You are getting sleeeeepy.......
Today I could not decide on the photo........Ted likes the moon picture. I like the Bittersweet, laden with a linty pile of freshly fallen snow ! Please vote for your favorite, just hit Post A Comment and we will tally up the preferences.
There is a collector for everything........n'est pas? There are a bunch of old snowmobiles on the truck, but this one was in a prominent position. I think the owner may be quite proud of it. Near as I can find out , it is a 1965 Ski-Doo Alpine .
Excuse me, but you have a little something on your face ;-) We stopped to say hi to the Bison at Eastover Resort in Lenox..........and yes.....I was behind a fence!
Wow , it was 50 degrees today ! I zipped over to Canoe Meadows Wildlife Sanctuary at lunch time. Chickadees, Robins, Cardinals, and Blue Jays were all enjoying the weather. Ooops, these Mallards saw me before I saw them.
Today was a sunny, warm winter day...the kind that softens up the snow for snowball packing. We went to Muddy Pond in Hinsdale to try out our new snowshoes....and take pictures. Featuring.... Ted, and the Nikon F.
This was my gift today. There was a large flock of these beautiful little birds at the end of my first day photo quest . We were in the middle of a true New England snowstorm on the first day of the new year.
